Start with one question
Add the appointment, condition or result you want to understand. You do not need to complete the entire record first.
Add a document carefully
Import a supported letter or result, then review extracted information against the original before saving it.
Create an appointment brief
Open My Case and bring confirmed facts, potentially relevant guidance and your questions into one concise brief.
Use the app without an account
No sign-in is required for the core record. Your primary app data is stored locally on your device.
Apple Health and smart scales
Data is not appearing
- Open iPhone Settings, then Health, Data Access & Devices and Health Record Ally.
- Confirm the required categories are allowed.
- Open the Apple Health app and check that recent data exists for that category.
- Return to Health Record Ally and refresh the relevant view.
For Renpho, Withings or another scale, first confirm its companion app is writing body-composition data to Apple Health.
Medication reminders and dose logs
A reminder did not arrive
Check that reminders are enabled for the medication, then review Health Record Ally notification permissions in iOS Settings. Focus modes may delay or silence notifications.
Correct a dose entry
Open the medication timeline, select the dose and edit its status or time. Your adherence view will update.
Trial and Health Record Ally+ purchase
Every feature is available for seven days after first launch without a credit card. When the trial ends, core record features remain available. Health Record Ally+ is planned as a one-time purchase, with final pricing shown by the App Store.
Restore a previous purchase
Open Settings in Health Record Ally and choose Restore Purchases. Make sure the device uses the same Apple Account that made the original purchase.
Appointment recording and transcripts
Ask every participant for consent before recording. If a transcript needs correction, open the appointment, choose Edit transcript, make the change and regenerate the summary if needed. Always review actions before using or sharing them.
Caregiver sharing
Open Share, choose the records or categories to include, set an expiry and preview the read-only view. You can revoke an active link from the same screen.
Drug interactions and urgent concerns
The interaction checker is an information tool, not emergency or medical advice. Do not stop or change medication without speaking to a qualified professional. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, use the emergency service appropriate to your location.
NHS guidance and local policy
A potentially relevant source is not a determination of eligibility or clinical suitability. Local-policy coverage is being introduced gradually. The app should show when no verified local source is available.
